New Port Seafood is the hard work of the two passionate founders with humble beginnings: a self-taught chef and a restaurateur. Together, their passion for food, life, learning, and to create a unique culinary experience is what you can’t wait to share with your family and friends, near or far.
Our cuisine brings together many South East Asian flavors, including Chinese, Cambodian, Vietnamese and Thai elements. We are not a traditional Chinese restaurant.
New Port Seafood Restaurant’s original location opened in 1988 in Orange County, but has since sold it. We expanded to the Los Angeles County in the city of San Gabriel in 1996, and opened another location in Rowland Heights in 1999. In 2008, the San Gabriel location was relocated to a larger venue, with its own parking lot.
